After a decade collecting agates I’m still in awe of their amazing beauty!

A stunning agate in warm reds and browns, all beautifully banded around the leaf shaped crystal in the middle. Set in a hand crafted sterling silver mount with a brown silk cord with sterling silver clasp.
This agate has a wonderful mixture of earth colours, oranges, pinks and browns, with a nearly white spot on the top. A large piece with lovel bands. Set in a hand crafted sterling silver mount with a brown silk cord with sterling silver clasp.
This agate was done yesterday. It’s from a beach agate we found, I’m sure once upon a time it was a fairly large whole agate, but by the time the sea had done it’s bit on it it was just a sliver with nothing of the rough (outside) left of it.
First picture is after it’s been cut and shaped on the grinder. Second picture is after it’s been lapped and polished. It’s such a beautiful agate with lovely warm colours. If everything goes to plan it will be a necklace by tonight.

A tiny little agate with both bands and circles in earthy browns and reds. Set in a simple, but stylish sterling silver ring.

Broken Leaf:
This stunning brown agate was broken into a leaf shape. Instead of cutting it to fit a mount, the choice of enhancing the leaf shape was opted for instead. A large natural flaw helps adding to the rustic feel. Mounted in hand crafted sterling silver mount with a chunky sterling silver chain.
