All our jewellery is Earth Friendly. There’s in no mining. No excavation. All our stones are hand picked from beaches. Nature is offering them up freely, with no damage to the Earth.
We also try our best to be Earth Friendly in other ways, not just our stones. All our jewellery boxes are recyclable, that includes the Rock My Bottle boxes. We also recycle the water we use on the grinding wheel. Normally running water is used, but we use a small pump instead, so the water gets reused time and time again.
Give Mother Nature a hug - wear a natural stone necklace close to your heart!
We currently have a display at Aberdeen Arts Centre, so please feel free to pop by and see our work on display, and make sure you catch a show and/or have a chat with the friendly people there.

Rock My Bottle is a fun and affordable variety of our Scottish agate jewellery.
Tiny little agate framents are gathered from the beach and placed inside a little glass vial. Topped with a cork stopper, sterling silver pendant cup and sterling silver tag.
Comes with a 18inch sterling silver chain, ready to rock that bottle!

Artisan Bracelets:
A Scottish agate, hand picked, hand shaped, hand lapped and hand polished by us. Set in a handcrafted sterling silver mount, with an adjustable handcrafted leather bracelet, with sterling silver beads on the tassles. The bracelets come in black, brown and tan leather.
All the bracelets are unique, no stone is the same. The shape of the bracelet mount all depends on what is most suitable for the particular stone.
Comes with a stylish black and cream presentation box. “DeMedeiros” printed in silver inside. Also inside the jewellery box is a small leaflet that gives a little bit of information regarding the agate:
- Front: Imaqe of a DeMedeiros necklace, “Scottish Agate” written on the bottom.
- Inside, page 1: “Agate” in large letters, “Agate is known for it’s power to help in stressful situations, a sybmbol of courage and strenght. It is said that agate increases stamina and helps awaken talents. Agate is belived to prevent insomnia and nightmares, a symbol for good health and longevity. Agate is a symbol for prosperity and wealth.
- Inside, page 2: “Scottish Agate” in large letters. “Scottish agates are considered one of the most beautiful agates in the world, due to their variety in form and their lovely colours”. “Wear a little piece of Scotland!” in large letters.
- Back: “All DeMedeiros agates are sourced locally from beaches, before being cut, shaped, lapped and polished right here in Scotland” together with our website link and our logo.
It’s always that extra bit of fun to spot something unusual in an agate. This agate doesn’t have any bands or circles, but it does have a wonderful flaw in it that when held against the light looks like a moth. ♥ it!
This little agate’s got a wonderful flaw that looks like a moth inside. The agate is red, turning white as it goes towards the top, with tiny little specks of red, like a sprinkle of cinnamon all over. Set in a simple sterling silver mount with a slim sterling silver chain.
