We have been avid collectors of agates for years, and we love the feeling we get when we cut a whole agate, and are the first people to see what it looks like inside.
Not to mention the awe we feel for nature, when we see an agate all polished and made into a piece of jewellery.
We truly love what we do, and hope it shows in the jewellery we make.
Each agate has been lovingly hand picked, hand cut, hand lapped and hand polished. Each agate will take between an hour and a half, to three hours, to finish.
The piece of jewellery depends entierely on the agate itself:
Sometimes the agate will be shaped to enhance the form nature has given it.
Sometimes when an agate is cut, it’s beauty is so great we just polish it to a mirror shine - the rest speaks for itself.
And sometimes the agate will look best shaped to fit a particular piece of jewellery.
We live and work in Scotland, and we hope in the future to have a workshop where people can come and visit, not just to see our jewellery, but also the process how it’s made.
